Our Story
Like you, we’re job seekers and human resources professionals who researched organizations before applying and interviewing with companies, hoping to find organizations where we could be our true selves and feel valued. But researching was not enough. We spent years accepting roles in toxic environments where we felt uncomfortable, undervalued, and disrespected.

This experience birthed our passion and desire to promote inclusiveness in the workplace and become the beacon of diversity and equality information for jobseekers and employers. As result, we founded Sojo Signal with the goal of bridging the diversity and equity gap in the workplace so marginalized talent can feel more comfortable making career decisions and inclusive employers can achieve greater productivity to improve their bottom line.

Defining Sojo Signal
[ˈsō·jō siɡnəl/]
Short for Sojourner, people who stay in a place temporarily, Sojo Signal is an ode to diverse millennial and gen-z job-hoppers who leave companies after 2 years or less due to toxic and/or unwelcoming work environments. Sojo Signal's goal is to be the first signal and resource for towards helping job seekers find and transition into truly inclusive and equitable workplaces.
